Welcome to Greenville! We are glad you have decided to visit us. Our citizens take great pride in our town, especially the things we are doing to keep our environment clean and use energy more efficiently. Everyone is doing their part - our citizens, our businesses and our government - to make our town the smartest energy user around.

We invite you to visit our homes, hospital and businesses. Many of the things we are doing can be done elsewhere - around the world and in your own backyard. Keep an eye out for the innovative technologies available today - from Smart Meters to server virtualization to power grid management - that are reducing our energy needs and making our planet cleaner.

We hope you get ideas on how we can put these technologies to greater use to make our country and our economy stronger. And we welcome any of your ideas for additional things our citizens could do to cut our energy demand further still.

Greenville was created by the Technology CEO Council, a public policy advocacy group that believes in the power of information and communications technologies to improve our nation's energy security and make our world a better place.  In addition to the pop-up data within Greenville, we've also provided links to other informational sites, white papers, and case studies that further highlight ICT and energy efficiency initiatives for use by:
