Executives Urge US Lawmakers To Lower Corporate Tax Rates

House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) said that all deductions--including federal subsidies paid to the largest oil companies--should be on the table as part of a drive to overhaul the corporate tax code.

"As we get in to look at fundamental reform of the corporate tax code, this and every other issue ought to be considered," Boehner said at a weekly press conference, in answer to a question about whether or not the subsidies to major oil companies should be ended.
