The Technology CEO Council (TCC) applauded the Obama Administration’s announcement today that the United States and the People’s Republic of China have reached an understanding on an agreement expanding the scope of goods covered by the Information Technology Agreement (ITA).

Wooters is currently and will remain a principal with bipartisan government relations firm Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti. In his new role, Wooters will work with Tech CEO Council members including the CEOs of Xerox, IBM, Dell, Intel and others to advance policies that promote U.S. competitiveness, including tax, trade and immigration.

WASHINGTON, DC - Leading DC-area tech associations are continuing to push for immigration reform today, as the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services  (USCIS) begins accepting applications for scarce H-1B visas for FY15. As a part of this outreach, the Technology CEO Council and seven tech trade associations today released an educational video explaining the negative impact of dysfunctional immigration laws on American jobs and the overall U.S. economy.
