A group of lawmakers are looking to reform U.S. immigration law to make it easier for foreign entrepreneurs to remain in the country if their start-ups are attracting investment and creating jobs.
Called the Startup Visa Act, the bill was introduced earlier this month in the Senate by John Kerry (D, Mass.) and Richard Lugar (R, Ind.) as a way of spurring U.S. job growth at a time when unemployment has hovered around 9% for the past two years.
